Sheila Folk has 20+ years’ experience as a hospitality industry executive, where she spearheaded acquisition, retention and referral programs for hotels, tour operators and destination management companies. During this tenure, she also worked with large hospitality industry product suppliers, technology companies, and start-ups on market penetration and growth strategies. Additionally, she served 5 years as an assistant vice president for a global risk and internal audit professional association.
After venturing out on her own, Sheila opened and steered her own ultra-luxe travel agency to $8 million in revenue in its first two years, primarily working with high-net-worth private jet clientele. Through this experience, she identified an overwhelming need for travel advisors to have tools and protections that support the operational functions of their business. This is where Travel Industry Solutions (TIS) comes in.
