Lisa Sjolund heads up VisitBritain’s Los Angeles office as Senior B2B Marketing Manager – USA. She develops and manages strategic relationships with travel companies in the US and UK focusing on integrated marketing partnerships and B2B marketing content and communications. Sjolund is a passionate tourism marketing expert with over twenty-five years in the travel industry. Prior to joining VisitBritain in 2003, Lisa held sales and marketing roles with the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Park Lane Hotels International and Radisson Hotels International.

Gina Bang
Avanti Destinations
Gina Bang has an insatiable curiosity about the world, other people and cultures, and particularly their cuisines. She has made foodie pilgrimages to many countries throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
Gina today serves as the Director of Marketing. She is also responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with travel agent consortia, as well as tourist boards and other partners on joint marketing efforts.
She began her career at Avanti as a customer service representative, then manager of inside sales while at the same time functioning as the product manager for Central and Northern Europe.
She has been with Avanti Destinations for more than 15 years. Selling through travel agents, Avanti sells an enormous number and range of extraordinary experiences, activities, hotels, tours and transfers for independent travelers going to Asia, Europe, Central and South America. All these pieces are then stitched together to create a completely custom-crafted vacation that suits the passions, budget and timetable of each traveler.
The most satisfying part of her work – besides traveling and tasting new and different foods? Building long-term relationships and friendships with all the different people she works with, both here in the U.S. and abroad.
