About the Speaker:
Rita Perez
Travel Advisor, Marketing Strategist, Podcast Host, & Autoimmune Warrior
She started working in the hospitality industry in 2004, working for the Orlando theme parks, while pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management.
While pursuing her Masters Degree in 2010, and simultaneously also attending a wedding in Tunisia, her travel business was born.
She has earned her CTA, VTA, and MCC certifications in the travel industry, and in Spring 2021 started her podcast to support fellow travel business owners, The Strategic Travel Entrepreneur Podcast.
She hosts the annual virtual event Prep for Wave Week, which brings together experts both in and out of the industry to discuss ways travel advisors can prepare for the upcoming wave season.
Rita has created frameworks and programs for travel entrepreneurs to take inspired and intentional action in their businesses, including private podcast series (Travel Tech and Ascending in your Business) and Marketing Business School.
When not supporting the travel industry, Rita enjoys spending time with friends and family, listening to Broadway tunes, working on a puzzle or other craft, and binging reality tv, fantasy series, or period dramas.
Rita is also an active member of her Rotary International local chapter.
