Idea #1: Create a One-of-a-Kind Offering
You’re in an awesome position where you can easily create unique travel experiences that people wouldn’t even dream of! Collaborate with a BDM to create a package that clients can’t get anywhere else.
Idea #2: Partner with a Nonprofit
This is a great idea because you can help to give back to your community while at the same time getting people excited to travel!
Find a fundraiser that you love and offer the top 5 participants $100-250 booking credit towards a specific package. You control the package and what can go towards. Of course, this can look different for each advisor for money and eligible products.
Talk with your closest BDMs to share your promotion ideas and ask what suggestions or packages would work best for this type of offer.
Idea #3: Get Festive and Seasonal!
Marketing data has proven that timely, themed promotions work better than generic promotions. So think of ways to tie this in… Some examples are football tailgates, specific holidays or season.
Idea #4: Plan for Black Friday
Believe it or not, Black Friday is already around the corner! Local businesses get the perk of riding the wave so why not you?
People are naturally looking for deals and unique ideas around this time so this a great time to showcase the expertise you offer!
Idea #5: FOMO & Social Proof
Have you ever thought about sharing a trip that your client books to showcase not only your services but build a little fear of missing out? If not, you should!
If you’re a Travefy user, this can be really simple to do! Simply copy the trip or proposal that a client booked and remove any client-specific details and share the copied version on social media. You can add something such as “Some amazing clients of mine just booked this trip and I’m so excited for their family!” Another added bonus to this is that your client who booked may re-share the post to their friends and family!
Idea #6: Create Company Incentives or Prizes
Partner with local companies to offer booking credits as prizes or rewards for their employee contest, wellness programs, etc.
Another idea added to this is to partner with companies that offer sabbaticals or other incentive travel and offer special credits or opportunities with them.
Idea #7: Partner with a Local Restaurant or Winery
Partner with one of these establishments to host a special trip for individuals or groups! You can also host an event night at the place to pitch the travel package opportunity.
Idea #8: Offer Upsells as the Promotion Hook
Don’t immediately gravitate toward discounts… Offer upsells like excursions, spa credits, or other options as the incentive to book during a promotion. Work with your BDMs, resorts, and reps to learn what offers they have to work with you on.
